Recipe for classic beef tripe soup

Belly soup - a delicacy, a remedy or an elixir? It belongs to those soups about which there are legends! Tripe soup is one of the recognized cures for hangovers. Preparing a delicious tripe soup at home is an easy task, the only condition being that you have good quality and clean tripe.

Ingredients needed:

  • beef tripe - 700 g.
  • fresh milk - 1 l.
  • beef bone broth - 2 jars of 700 g.
  • beef tallow - 40 g.
  • red pepper - 1 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • garlic - 10 cloves
  • vinegar - 100 ml.

Method of preparation

  1. The first step is to heat the beef broth in a pot. Add the hot fresh milk, 2 teaspoons of salt and ½ teaspoon of black pepper to it.
  2. Heat the beef tallow in a deep pan, add the red pepper and flour and fry them for about a minute or two, then add a few spoonfuls of the broth and stir until a uniform mixture is obtained.
  3. Pour the broth into the broth, add the beef tripe from the jar and let the soup boil for a few minutes.
Serve the tripe soup with the crushed garlic mixed with the vinegar.
